We were there on October 18, 2020 in the afternoon. We were very disappointed. At first you had the feeling that the service had overlooked us. But after 20 minutes BB she came. The service made a completely overwhelmed impression. We only got a menu / drinks menu at the request. It took another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive. At the next table sat a couple who waited over 45 minutes for their soup. After an hour the soup came, but it was cold. The two let go of the soup! That was enough for us. No desire to be served like that. We then hiked on to the Greek in the old town. Forsthaus Löhen never again!

Waiting for food next to us for over an hour was a couple which was not served at all for 45 minutes. 1 service staff who was hard-working and friendly tried everything. The food was ok though. Significantly too few staff!

We probably got the wrong day and time. There was a techno party going on outside. Unfortunately, the music could also be heard inside. The service seemed overwhelmed and it took until we got our drinks. The food we ordered came quickly, but we had the impression that it was prepackaged food. It was tasty, but we expected more passion in cooking. The location itself is great and well suited for hikers to stop by.

We wanted to go there for a beer. Ordered 2 beers. The drink came after 15 minutes because a single service person was there and was completely overwhelmed. Location is nice, service unfortunately a 6. The owner should read the google reviews.

Nice location, that's it again. The service was a catastrophe, 1: 30h wait for the food, that's definitely too much. Other guests sometimes waited 30 minutes for their drinks or didn't wait any longer and instead simply left because they weren't served. There are probably big organizational problems there and the staff doesn't seem to have everything under control either, this simply makes unnecessary walking distances and has no overview of the guests to be entertained. The empty glasses also collect on the table because nobody clears them away, even if new drinks were brought in, the old ones just stayed where they were. If the restaurant had been overly frequented with guests, I might have understood here and there, but this was not the case, it felt empty and what was in the outside area of ​​guests, a well-organized service staff would have done alone.

Unfortunately no service. A registered group was crammed together at a table in Corona times. Why? There were other seats - but you should take a seat there. There was one overburdened service person for the entire restaurant. The drinks supply didn't work at all. There was no thought of eating Such a sad experience on a summer evening - the gastronomy shouldn't be surprised that things are going downhill.

Finally spent a relaxing evening at the Forsthaus Löhen! Eaten well, drank delicious beers and served very nicely. Always a nice break ...

A great place to relax after a hike and enjoy honest and good food. All are super nice and there is also a large playground for children. A definite recommendation.

Nice inn, rustic and sympathetic. Again and again, the operator stands out with nice actions and so can attract guests who like to come back.
